Controls and stuff

I have a '98 XP limited. The start/stop switch cover (little red rubber thing) has oxidized and fallen off. The switch still works but it is a bit of a pain to get to and just looks bad now. I checked with SeaDoo and they want a small fortune for the wiring harness and that seems to be the only way they'll sell me the little red button. Anyone have a suggestion?

Ok, since the subject of controls has been breached, does anyone out there know of an aftermarket set of controls for this machine? I have thought of changing out the bars to a more "race" style setup.

There are lots of aftermarket companies out there. I would google it and see what turns up.
