Compression?

I'm thinking about a 1996 GTI I was told the compression is 125 and 130 should I be concerned with this he wants $900 for the wave runner and trailer which I thought was a good price. I regretfully sold my GTI in the Spring and that had a 140 on both cylinders. So I'm a little skeptical about this and it also has those rotten temple fuel lines too. I Don't wanna spend more time working on it then riding it so I might look for something else. What do you guys think?
