Recently one of my skis was totaled. Great news is it just needs top fiberglass shell and bottom hull. They’re identical 2020 gti 130’s

My question is sealant. After finally removing ride plate and intake grate, now it’s time to attach to new hull. Problem is the massive amounts of sealants out there. What I’ve read is to use marina grade rtv sealant. However, the only rtv sealant available at any stores near me (automotive mainly) are labelled automotive.

So, is there anyone who has replaced the ride plate and intake grate and what sealant did you use with success? Thanks

We use clear silicone from Home Depot....No problems at all...Do not use a glue type sealant or you will never get it apart again !

Why not use what BRP uses? There is a reason why they use the Loctite flange sealant and not some cheap hardware silicone.
