After reviewing the seadoo parts list on thier website. I did not find any information on the 1995 Seadoo SP. Are the 1996 Seadoo parts list for the SP compatible? Can I use a 1996 part in place of the 1995?

I am seeking a replacement for the Steering Cover that goes on the handle bar;
(277000484 Steering Cover (Marine Green) is the part number of the 1996 part)

If this is not possible anyone have some good modification options for a cleaner looking handlebar? The 1995 Steering cover is no longer usable.

277000255 (OBSOLETE) COVER-STEERING is the 1995 part I seek.

Handlebar covers are getting hard to find, I used kitchen wrap over my 95 GTX and even though it has pimples showing it is functional - the sun and suntan oil seems to make them decay, there was someone who mentioned a zippered cover from upholstery but I could not find one 2 years ago.

Junkyard...

Yeah, sadly,.... after so many years, parts become discontinued. The best place to find parts is through the PWC junkyards.

There is a guy on ebay who has an online shop of older, hard to find parts. His store is "Great Lakes Skipper"..... Try and see if you can find him, send him email and you might luck up......:cheers:

sbt

if you search around on there website as well, they have a list of "junk/salvage" yards...:cheers:
