Coil and Plug Wires 97 Challenger 1800

Does anyone know if the coil and plug wires have a non See Doo substitute? I have been waiting for weeks on new wires from Canada and they seem to be on back order. Seems there would be other companies other then SeeDoo that uses the same plug and coil wires. HELP!!

Hey jchet. Who did you order your parts from? I found the parts you need from the parts site from the forum. Click on the "Parts" link at the top right of this page and it will take you there. They should have them in stock, they list them as being available. :cheers:

Dont think, there's a substitute for the coil, but the plug wires....go to auto parts store, and get 7mm wires...:cheers:

Still Searching

It's been a month now on back order and still no wires. Thank you for the assistance on the plug wires, at this point 1 coil wire would at lease get the boat runniong again. I did try the parts link but they also have to get them from Canada and are on back order. Any other suggestions?

You could go to www.seadoo.com and look for a "local dealer", and give them a call for availability.

I have done that, I live in the Orlando area and there are multible stores, but again they give me the same answer.
