hey all-good news, that manifold is off!

carbs are back on and lines and throttle all back on but...

when i removed choke-wasnt sure how to remove it so undid the swivel spring loaded mechanisms that attached the choke rod to the carb.

and now i have forgtten how the spring mechanism goes back on

just need to get these mechanisms sorted and the carbs are done and i can start putting things back to normal!

so any help is very much appreciated

Geez! I had a big, long winded message for you with pictures etc. for your problem. What do I do with it all now???
Ha Ha.Only kidding.No I didn't

hey jimbo-

place the spring (with little grey bit at top)-top being the shorter bit and bottom being the rectangular bit sticking out-line up the rectangular bit to the little screw post-the rectangular bit should fit nicely around the screw post.

ok-here is where it gets tricky-wind the spring round anti clockwise holding the little short sticky out bit (lol my terminology isnt great), now hold it there-place the mechanism over spring-but make sure u dont lose tension and dont put mechanism all the way down-yet!

now carefully wind the spring right round past the screw post and quickly push the mechanism down-the little spring bit should now be on the left of the mechanism plate-forcing it to sit tight to thast screw post! then put the 10mm nut onto it.

then if done correctly when you pullchoke-mechanism moves and when you let go of choke it should snap bk!

any problems let me know-will do my best to explain
