Hello all, While in the process of rebuilding my super BN 38 Mikuni carbs I discovered a simple way to replace the rubber grommets for the check valves and wanted to share since I really couldn't find any good info. When you remove the old check valves and replace the diaphram (the little clear plastic part) in order to replace the grommet you will find that it's especially difficult especially if you have big hands and big fingers. It seems that the harder you push the more compressed the rubber gets and consequently the more difficult it is to push back on the hole. If you use a 5/64" allen wrench it will fit in the hole nicely and just, being careful, push down. The grommet will snap in place perfectly with no damage to the rubber. I just discovered this and wanted to share with the hopes that it would help someone else out there.
