Hey everyone, I recently bought a 98 Seadoo where the previous owner had
switched the stock thumb "front" throttle to a "behind" throttle controlled
by your fingers. Hugely more comfortable IMHO.

Now I want to change my 97 GTX throttle to the same. The one on the 98 is a short
black "finger" throttle item and I can't seem to find them anywhere on the Net.

Any ideas as to where to get one of these?

kawi 1100 has them on the HB

look at the two '96 1050's in my avatar, they are kiwi's.

Kawi, Polaris and Yamaha all use a (front) "Trigger" throttle. You are right... they are WAY more comfortable. I think SeaDoo does the thumb throttle because BRP makes quads too. (They are common on quads, and they suck there too. I like a twist throttle)

Anyway... you can buy some aftermarket units. UNI makes a nice one.

I've found some now but a few have been $200+. Is that kind of a "kit" needed? That's pretty steep.
