I know it is a little late for me since I just had the SC rebuilt with a SeaDoo kit. Now, Chester is saying the washers are ceramic with titanium coating when I thought it was titanium all along. Oh well. I might be getting another GTX with a SC that was rebuilt with ceramic units back in 07. So, any advice? The current GTX has 45 hrs but the SC was able to be spun by hand.
I am thinking of just having the unit rebuilt. The Seadoo kit costs me about $300 and the labor is about $175. While I am there, I will replace the oil switches and fluids which should bring my labor bill to $250.
Should I get the Riva kit then or just the washers or what?
