I'm a newbie here, just got a 95 Sportster. My first outing on the boat was great - 2hrs, no issues. My second outing, the carrier bearing seized on the shaft, causing the boat to take in water. Luckily this all happened at very low speed, near the dock. While bringing the boat in, I noticed that it did not have much thrust. The motor revved like normal but would barely move. I replaced the complete driveline bearing, now the boat does not take in water. But it still does not have much thrust. It is a little better, but not much. My research tells me that the boat is "cavitating?" Any help solving this issue is much appreciated. Thanks!
