Can't get faster than 30MPH

Greetings all, new to the forum and PWC's, just bought a 2016 GTX is 260 that sat for 1 1/2 years. Drained all the gas an put fresh fuel in, ran better but max speed is 30MPH at 5000 PM, comes out of the hole real slow. I know car motors but this is a new animal to me, does the computer put it in limp mode when there's an issue? No codes on the panel.

Not sure if it applies to you, I have a older seedoo and it has two keys a yellow regular one and a green that is programmed for 30. ??

Thanks, I too have the 2 keys, 1 yellow and 1 black, still doesn't get past 30MPH on either

Check the jet pump from below the ski on trailer
Look for anything stuck in impeller or on the drive shaft forward
You should a SMALL gap around the impeller and where ring
Put A new set of spark plugs in too
You tube is your best friend
Look up Seadoo jet pump wear ring

Thanks, plugs are new and ring is good, pulled bad gas out new plugs and it fires all cylinders now but can't get past 30mph

You have any fault codes or messages or lights illuminated on dash ‍

If no then I recommend doing a compression and fuel pump pressure check
Also a clutch slip check on supercharger

Check that mode settings are not restricting speed refer to operators manual above

Not an easy ski to work on as it’s an IS model

You’ll be come an expert at upper deck removal

Check on the trailer with a flushing hose and see what it’ll rev to

Fuel pump pressure is not monitored neither is compression or supercharger operation and all will effect engine operation
