Can I replace the "key"

I hate the beeping key thing. Is there a way to install an old school lanyard clip that's not digital?

It may be annoying but the beeping key actually acts as a thief deterrent....no other key (ok, maybe 1 of 100K) will start your ski.

You could disconnect the beeper if it really bothers you that much. The buzzer functions as a warning device though so its not a good idea.

I actually find the two beeps reassuring that the ski is going to start.

It's not the beeping that bothers me. It's the whole system. I'm not worried about a theft deterrent. I just don't like that the lanyard is $70 and needs programed. My stand up had a little red plastic clip that worked fine. I'd like that please.

What year and model ski do you have? You can get an aftermarket MPEM that doesn't have security, but it's high dollar.
