Finally got my ski back today!l after two long weeks of hell after I sunk her... There was a LONG list of things they did to her and I still have to bring it back (short in the main wiring harness)

Notice this was broken from the incident.. Can anyone tell me the name of it or a part number ??

Matty,
did I miss thread where you sank your ski

i dont think i actually posted about it.. ill sum it up pretty quickly

a couple weeks ago was the first time I really had a chance to get my ski out..

Ran fine for 15 minutes it was nice and powerful and then I changed from the learning key to the regular key.. Drove for a minute and then gave it a little gas.. Got up to 40 and then it just died in the water.. Tried starting it and nothing... I felt like I was leaning towards the left side a little bit so I picked up the seat and this bad boy was FILLED with water... Like up past the battery.. I had to emergency tow it to some random island in the middle of no where and try to figure out what was wrong.. After calling the dealer that sold it to me as let out some frustration he told me what ever I do get it to him and he'll take care of my sea tow bill and the damages.. I tilt it about 90 degrees to get the water out of it and as soon as I put the ski back down.. It started filling immediately.. Somehow I towed it behind my buddy's fx ho to a random spot on a barrier island and proceeded to wait there in the freezing cold an hour an a half until my buddy drove his ski back to the dock got my truck and came and got me... Once I took the ski out of the water, water was pouring out of it by the jet pump and ride plate..

turns out the exhaust hose that connects to the hull popped off and water went rushing in... it was still under the 30 day warentee from the dealer i bought the ski from sooo they replaced...

water temp sensor..
dess post went bad
battery went bad
brand new hoses and clamps all around
a couple chrome decals fell off.. they replaced them..
the gps was lost so they bought me a new gps
replaced the learners key that floated away with all the chaos..

and finally i found out today that there is a short in the main wiring harness so they ordered me a new wiring harness and are going to take care of that repair...i didnt pay a penny for any of the repairs and i wont pay one for the harness repaired..

just sucks to have a 7 year old ski with 8 hours take on water like that

Holy cow batman.

Thats puts you up there with Brock's Great Lake adventures.
Glad it ending has silver lining.

I'm glad they stepped up though. That would have been an expensive bill to cover out of pocket.

Always makes me happy to hear about a dealer that stands behind a ski, new or used.

I just picked up my RXT-X yesterday and inquired about programming my lanyards between two of my skis, he said no charge just get them to him. And he will reset my maintenance light if I do my own oil changes.
