Hello

Need some advice on a second PWC. Last year we bought our first ever PWC and we absolutely loved it!
We have a lake house were we spend most of our summer vacation and a lot of weekends.

The one thing we really missed was riding togethter, we feel that would have been a blast. The thing we like about the Spark is that it is so playfull, doing 180,s and jumping wakes.

But I would also like to have a little more power so I was thinking the GTR 215 with the GTI hull.
Would the GTR be concidered playfull?

We also have a 2005 180 Challenger so I am familiar with the engine.

Thanks, Markus

I think the spark / gtr comparison is like comparing a miata to a mustang. Different rides, the only similarity is that they both have 4 wheels and an engine.

the gtr will still corner/carve great, certainly capable of tossing an inexperienced or unprepared rider, but its not going to be the same by any comparison that I can think of except similar styling, kind of a papa bear mama bear type comparison

Faster, Heavier, less nimble, but still dam fun.

I agree, the Spark is kind of a beast of it's own. Many compare it to the older XP models as far as agility and being able to "throw" it around and what not. I have a GTX that you can crank the steering all you want and have a ball. Also have a RXT-X that if you do the same you will be swimming,, LOL The larger 4-tec skis are exactly that. Larger and heavier. But with more power are very playful.

Thank you for the replies and input!

I am avere of the differences, just trying to find out if the GTR will "do it" for me.
Beeing a horse power junkie in general I really like the idea of a more power but I also like to be able to provoke it into slides 180,s and such.

The power diff between the two is night and day. All kinds of go fast goodies available for the 215 too. As for what you will be able to do with it...depends. Personally...I've never seen anyone "slide" a 3seater.
