Not that any fuel would be sloshed into a line jumping wakes and waves? My Wife and kids over fill the tank everytime. The gas is in the ground when you pump it into the tank. What maybe 55 - 60 degrees, It's 80 + above ground? Fuel expanses?
You bet fuel expands. The more fuel you have the more expansion, so tank shape can be important. It's not worth overfilling, stop well before it gets there.
