The part of the cables that connects to the car's cable was bit up by my dog on the trailer of my 2009 sea-Doo speedster. Is there a kit that I can purchase to patch it up? Thanks any help would be appreciated

Incognito.Sorry mate,I didn't recognise you at 1st.Anyways.Give the dog a good boot up the bum.I take it you mean the connector that all the wires go into. They are easily available just about everywhere.Lets say Walmart.Take a close up pic of it,go the and buy one the same. Then disconnect and reconnect, the wires.Write down the colors and where they go before you start.Take you about 30 mins. Now go and pat the dog:thumbsup:

you could cut out the bad parts of the wire and solder in new wire and heat shrink it all. Or you could half ass it and use crimp on connectors and electrical tape. If it was me, I would solder in new wires or spend about $20 and buy a new wire harness and just replace it all.

A universal one would work fine. I totally rewired my trailer with a new harness i bought at harbor freight for under $10.

white wire is ground - green wire is right turn signal / brake light - yellow wire is left turn signal / brake light - brown wire is park lights - (sometimes brown/yellow ) - thats the 4 way plug, if u need other connector i have info on it too -

:agree: Harbor Freight has the complete kit, new lights, marker lights and wiring for 19.95. I just re-did my trailer.

The link wouldnt work but i googled kit 96658 That is the same kit I used to totally rewire my trailer. I used that and bought all new LED lights off ebay. It is super easy to do. If it doesnt match the same, you can alter it. I had, but i forget which wires i had to change. Off that plug, the green wire goes to the right side turn signal. Yellow is left side turn signal. Brown is all running lights or tail lights. And then white is all grounds. Let me know if you need anything else covered.

I ended up patching it up using electrical tape using the same plug. It is working just fine for now. Lets see how long it holds up

That will work for a quick fix, but i can almost guarantee you it wont work long. It will get water in it and short out. At a minimum, cut the wire and use a butt connector that has the heat shrink and sealant built in.
