should have a warranty right? was the battery fully charged? might have something to do with it. also try jumping the solenoid, make sure all grounds are clean and in good condition. might take the battery and have it load tested to see if it's putting out the cranking amps as per specs. make sure the battery is disconnected from the ski when charging as it can hurt the mpem.
