Central Florida Boat Ramps for Smaller Boats

I've owned my Sea-Doo Speedster for about a year now, but already encountered a difficulty locating acceptable boat ramps in the Central Florida area (both on the East and West coasts) that would be suitable for SAFE launching of my relatively small boat - Speedster 150. Among the problems I've encountered are: high waves, dock too high, strong currents, etc. As a result I already logged at least one noticeable dent, chipping off some gel coat against dock's supports in the area of the gunwale, along with other smaller minor scratches along the gunwale area. In many cases it's almost impossible to tie the boat to the dock's cleats, due to the difference in hight: dock' patform is high, while the boat is way below the dock' level. Some ramps are very friendly - low and calm - such as Sebastian Inlet and downtown St. Pete, but I wish there was a way to know in advance, before facing the ramp.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated -- of course, experience is everything! Thanks!!
