I'm with you Lou. Winter in Alabama is generally too cold to ride and there's no winter sports. We do have wetsuits so the kids and I ride on out in November. We try to winterize Thanksgiving weekend or there about. My winter project this year is installing a wakeboard tower on the boat and building a bunk house on the property. That should keep me busy until it warms up again.

BTW did Maw knock you into the middle of next week with the avatar picture?

Winter pretty much sucks here. Too cold to go to the lake and too warm for winter sports. That's why I try to extend the PWC season and also why I'm looking for a winter project.

Lou

Too cold for the lake???? We used to take girls to the lake in late fall/winter to watch the submarine races at night!;);)

My crazy but rode almost every single day last winter and I mean that. I'm not saying the conditions were perfect but it usually warms up a little in the middle of the day. I have spent the last couple months wrenching during the heat and the rain and now the weather is starting to get nice again. I was moved from Michigan when I was 8 and I already had my own snowmobile before I left. I just still have it in my blood to bundle up and ride the "sled".

I am a everyday shopper for Seadoo related things and I have stacked some really cool vintage riding gear including a whole Seadoo Dry-Suit. This winter will be full of projects for me too but I fully intend to get out there and test them also.

A couple days like the weekend past tend to dry them out real good: 105 degrees and a mild (10-20 mph Santa Ana wind) ... remove the seats and let nature run its course. Way too hot for me, but does the job. Of course I gotta get one in the water before I can test the process real good.
