I have a 97 GTX and 95 GTS. I have had poor results with batteries lasting only a year or two. Is this normal ? Should I pull the battery and store inside during the winter ? Does anyone leave a trickle charger on their battey ? I have used the dry cell type odyssey battery and lead acid type. Does anyone have a brand that performs better than another ?

A couple years for a battery is about the norm........I'm sure there are some out there who pay for that high dollar battery and it last a little longer. I just buy from Advanced Auto supply, for less than $50 bucks, it gets me through the season, then I buy again the following spring.
If you keep it through the winter months, then yes, you should keep it from freezing temps.
I use a 2 amp trickle charger, but not daily. You'd need a "tender" for that.:cheers:
