batery loose 95HX

I was out riding my 95 HX yesterday, and the batery broke loose (came unstrapped) when I fell off, now it won't start and all I get is a noise from electrical box. Any ideas? When I opened the engine cover, the battery was up against the motor.

Take your battery and have it load tested at autozone or someplace, also check all wiring conections to and from battery. Did the battery (+) touch the motor in any way?

You could have broke one of the main power cables, or the battery shorted out, and doesn't have enough power to get it to crank. OR... it shorted out, and ate the regulator, and is causing some other issues.


I would start by checking fuses.

I'm not sure if the positive side of the battery touched the motor, but it is possible. All connections look to be in good shape.
