bailer pipe question

the manual says the engine drain hose goes to that part right there.

so i looked in the hull and all i could see/think of was this part that hase de 90 degree bend and goes out the hull.

but it has no fittings. where does that hoes go? it is the last hose i have and am clueless. when i pulled the engine, they were less hoses and routed in a different way. now i am doing it as per service manual but am stumped

The bailer tubes connect to part no. 22 on the top of the pump, which are connected to the outlets in the ride plate.

I called it by tje wrong name. I have no idea why i called it that. I need to find where that drain hose goes cause it's driving me crazy

That hose just connects to the exhaust outlet.

I cant find the fitting where it connects. Does it go to the exhaust pipe y put in the first post?

Well, it's way back, it's hard to see from inside of the ski, you may need to remove the exhaust outlet.

If I remember correctly mine entered from the side, did you try looking with a light and an inspection mirror, or better yet with a bore scope? If you look from the outside of the ski you should see about a 1/8" hole where the elbow screws into the exhaust pipe.

Sorry I can't tell you how to remove the exhaust outlet, I can't recall ever doing it myself.

no, but i was able to touch/feel around the whole pipe itself (i think) i have been wanting to buy a scope but the snap on guy goes to the shop on fridays and i have fridays off lol

You should be able to see the exit hole if you look up the rear exhaust tube that goes thru the hull and get an idea where it is...

the exit pipe is the second link i posted in my first post, that has 2 big rubber hoses and a 90 degree metal pipe. i would assume it goes there but cant find a fitting for it

well its 2am here and i was bored and this problem just could no tleave my head so i went out and started wrenching and found this

this is the 90 degree pipe that goes from that big rubber hose on the water box, and out the hull. it is not an oem piece since i can easily see it was cut with a hack saw. thats why i could not find the fitting. tomorrow i will drill and tap a fitting on there.


now onto my other discovery... what is that hose there with what looks like a pvc plug there? there is like a pvc cap on it with a clamp plugging it. what purpose does it serve, and does it go that way?

Kinda looks to me like the exhaust originally went out the side hole, (the one with the pvc plug) and then they modified the ski so that it would come out of the rear of the hull... hmm that is weird...
