Havent been in in awhile. I sold my 2006 RXP last august due to my little "accident"
Wiped out at 45 mph ,seadoo went east I went north. 2 cracked ribs and a bruised lung and a black eye. So I found a buyer who payed a LOT for my rxp :) I just picked up a 1993 SP in great shape. Motor was rebuilt a few years back and owner kept receipts etc. Body/seat in good shape but needs a good waxing and sticker replacement. Ive found a few replacement goodies on ebay. So my questions: The ski doesnt have sponsons and i want to add them. Will it be hard to drill/get to the holes? Intake grate reccomendation? It has a K@N filter. I know it wont be a monster for speed but Im just gonna use it to cruise riding at the lake. Plus it will use less gas than the RXP.

I've got sponsons for you...I can only assume the foam has the holes so you will be able to reach the holes you drill and put nuts on the studs.

Intake grate...good if you are in rough water. I am pretty sure a X-4 intake grate will fit that hull.

I think though coming from the RXP you are going to be disappointed. I would recommend a 96 XP 97-99 SPX.

It looks like a tight fit to reach the holes which I will need to drill. All the foam inside is still there etc.
I ordered a solas intake grate. This ski will do for now. Im gonna get a bigger faster one at the end of the summer. Ive got 2 months to get her ready/cleaned up and tested for my laughlin trip. Got pictures of the sponsons? How much shipped to austin tx 78728???

thanks
mark
