Any Positive comments on the 2003 XPDI

Just bought one. Thought it was a good purchase. Already an issue see earlier post. Just wondering. Need some positive news on this machine.

I'm "POSITIVE" that I'll never own a DI !
The DI is a great engine format as long as it is new. The problem is that they are hard to diagnose and costly to repair. Your average jet ski technician is usually not qualified to be working on them and therefore starts throwing parts at them which gets very expensive.
A ski with a DI is like a Lincoln Continental.....you gotta buy it new, enjoy it for 3 or 4 years and then unload it before it eats a hole in your wallet!

Well... I'm kind of in that same mind set.



OK... the positive... when they work, they are reliable, and very fuel efficient.

The problem is... when they break, they are expensive, and hard to diagnose.
