Aftermarket tach gauge

Can't get any signal to my aftermarket tach gauge. Oem gauge didn't work so just swapped it for a aftermarket one . Can't find any wireing diagram for sportster le either(only sportster 1800? with different wire colors). Figure out ground,12v and light. Have darkblue and pink wire left
Tried to search a little but didn't find any defenitive solution. Someone said something about you have to have special tach to read seadoo signal ?

Generally the blue wire will be for the low oil light and the pink is for the fuel gauge. The tach(signal) wire will probably be grey.

I just pulled the plug from just the tach. 6 pin conector but only 5 wires conected. Blue.dark blue.pink.black and red
I'm confused

Well you can look up your specific wiring diagram in the service manual.
