Advise on buying a 2000 Islander 21?

Thinking of trading in our old searay for a 2000 sea-doo Islander with length 21' and has the single 2000 Merc v6 240hp engine for $8500.00.

Any advise on this boat? Things I need to ask SkipperBuds (the seller). I am new to jet engines, but I like what i see. Will be used in Milwaukee down the river and a little on Lake Michigan.
