Add an inline water separator?

My local Seadoo dealer suggested the addition of a water separator to my 97 Speedster fuel line because of ethanol gas water absorption. He made it sound like an easy job, even for a schmuck like me. Comments from the gallery please? Do they work? Where do I get one? How much? etc.

Places like West Marine should have what you need. Here I can buy no ethanol fuel for about $.02 more per gallon.
