99SPX Wanna drop a triple in it

That's a 96 xp. Any ski that came with a 720 will accept the rad dudes plate.

So, up to 96 that is the last spx. In 95 the white and yellow xp is the last xp that will take that plate. So,

96xp, 97spx thru 99spx Will not take that plate.

Hey. It says Xp on side. Is an SPX as I was told or an xp. The more info and research and ask you guys the more it all runs together.

the ski matt is on to is the one that needs your swap if it was anywhere near me id pay 2000 for it smoking deal plug full of good mod parts
 
Matt.....thank you again. I looked at that ski you posted. Yes it is worth my drive. But no number to contact[emoji57]. The UMI steering is something I am looking for as well.

You know... a 99 GSX LTD is pretty much like a XP hull.. and comes with a 951 already in it.

I ran one for 2 seasons. it's a wickedly overpowered thing that never wants to stay in the water.

I will look into it. My original idea has been altered and modified several times. I am keeping my options open. Appreciate all advice and ideas.

Look for post from scottie mac. He glasses in stringers for the kawi mounts. Use 96 xp and newer hull, it handles better. 1100 in x4 hull will go 65 on pump gas.

Yeah........If I remember correctly that was in a light weight big red hull, not a stock x4 hull. I remember reading that a while back while researching big red hulls. I'll have to see if I can find that, can't remember if it was gh or pwct.

Yes that hull is 60lbs lighter then stock. I could have bought it before Kawi66 glassed the Kawi mounts in it :banghead:
 
Thanks Matt, I was pretty sure it was an aftermarket hull. I couldn't see going thru all the work of glassing in stringers when rad dudes make the plate for the HX that would bolt right into a 95 xp 720 ski. But, some guys are really good with glass work and could make quick work of it.

Very nice. You guys are a wealth of knowledge. So I am NOT the only one who wants to do this. I have been looking at all options,
I have looked at a 951 option. Or stroking a 800, Or even looking at getting the 95 xp with the bed plate from rad dudes and doing the triple. Nothing is decided yet. Keep the info coming. Appreciate any ideas and help.
