99 GTX 947/951 piston question

I have set of 947 DI pistons with the coating on. Can they be used in a silver carb model 947? Or are the pistons physically different ?

They can be and are a great upgrade because they are a much more durable piston. I am pretty sure [MENTION=73220]1of500[/MENTION] used them in his RXX build.
