Ok ive pulled the jet pump and gotten to the impeller, and impeller shaft. What ive noticed is that the impeller blades rotate, but not with 100% ease, i dont necessarily need to torque them to move, but they arnt 100% easy, and i hear a sound as though the fan is rubbing the housing around it. Does this indicate that i need to take out/replace the bearings?

Secondly since i know its not the jet pump thats seized, should i now move on to the engine block?

When you pulled the pump, did you drain the oil from the cone? On the cone, there should be a small allen head plug, this is where you fill it. But, when you remove the pump, you can just pop out those 3 bolts and pop the cap off and drain it. You need to see how much oil is in it (should be almost 3 oz.) and the color. If the oil has mixed with water, it will be yellowish. That means your seal went out and they will have to be replaced.

If it's been a while since your last oil change (it's suppose to be done every season), then you will probably be best served in a pump rebuild. You will need a manual for this procedure because there are tolerances that have to be maintained.... Air test to be performend.

I haven't seen your other thread so have no idea about your motor.
