At idle, around 1000 RPM's there's a rattling noise coming from the impellers. The noise is gone at about 1500 RPM and up though. With the boat floored, I can get about 7100 RPM's out of it. I read somewhere else that if the motors are above 7000, you need to change out the seals. Is that the case, or are the motors just in good shape? The noise worries me, but I usually don't hear it. It's more obvious when the boat's out of the water and I'm flushing it, but I imagine that's because it doesn't have anything to actually suck through the impellers. Is this something to worry about, or am I fine?

That seadoo will idle at about 3000 rpms out of the water as there isn't any water load on it. In the water it should idle at bout 1500rpm's under a water load on it. The noise is the jet pump thrust washer play in the jet pump. As the spring gets weak over time and use, it allows the jet pump to have a little extra play that is evident with no load on it to take up the play. For the most part its normal.
