Hey, can somebody give me the width and length of the decal thats says Sea Doo on the side of a challenger. Mine is missing since I bought it and the boat has way too much white on the side without it. I`m gonna get somebody to make me one...thx,,Jason

Mine's a 97, and SEA-DOO is 37X5 and the CHALLENGER is 23X3

On this side looks like this, other side has CHALLENGER at rear also, then SEA-DOO in front of it.

I figured the size of the decals would be pretty similar. That is why I offered to measure and post pics for you.

I doubt, but could be wrong, that the 1800 decals are any longer or bigger.

Maybe someone with an 1800 will chime in and let us know.

I actually went the other way last week and pulled off all my stickers except for the SEADOO Challenger ones. I got rid of all the decals that looked like paint splashes. I think the boat looks nicer, cleaner, and actually bigger.

The wife and I are looking at taking the SEADOO stickers off the side and buying aftermarket ones that are more modern looking. Maybe tribal tattoo looking designs with XXX or something, maybe a tribal-flame design. Of course, Not sure if I want to sink that much frivolous money at this thing...

There is this website we are looking at that sells stuff like this...

I have a guy that will cut out any vinyl lettering or numbers you want and in any color or font. As soon as it quits raining I will post up pics of what he did for mine.

How did you remove the old graphics?

Hit it with my wife's hair dryer set on high heat. Find a pointy spot on the decal, hit it for about 20 seconds and it starts to come up with your fingernail, then slowly peel it up while leading about 6 inches in front of your hand with the blow dryer.

There may be a couple small spots that need adhesive remover if you go too fast.

Do NOT use a razor blade, you will nick the gel coat.

Did my entire boat minus the SEADOO Challenger sticker on the side in about 20 minutes.
