try pulling the wire off the temp sender on the engine. You may have a sender going bad, because the MPEM shouldn't make a constant buzz for any reason

ive tried that and it still goes off the only plug that would make it go off instantly was when i unplugged the big plug under the front cargo box that goes to the handle bars. After it stops beeping it still cranks i had actually took it to a shop today that i never been to before to have my carbs looked at and when i got there to pick it up i started checking everything only bc i dont trust a whole lot of people with my stuff and thats when its started buzzing and me and the owner got into it bc it wasnt doing that when i took it to them and he didnt know what was causing it

"and me and the owner got into it bc it wasnt doing that when i took it to them and he didnt know what was causing it"

and the outcome was? .........

im a diesel mechanic but been an overall mechanic on alot of stuff for 15 years and this is my first jetski he was the first person i took it too and the last thats why i always work on my own stuff but not familiar with watercraft but i will be soon

good on you

when i was very young (19) i learned that BOAT repair types & MOTORCYCLE repair guys was in it for the $$$$$$. They wouldn't tell ya sh!t (cause they didn't know without that damn book) about anything!
You're in luck! There's gotta be a COMPLETE SERVICE MANUAL on-line available for FREE for your bike. I have both Clymer's and Sea Doo's manuals for both my bikes.
You're also in the right spot as these guys here know their SH!T!

Good Luck!

yes but not the right buzz or beep everything in there but the buzzing ive got just curious whatelse besides the temp sensor that buzzer goes too

97 XP oil adjustment question

One of my 97 XP's has some internal work done, Rossier exhaust, and MSD ignition. But, i noticed its usin more oil than i THINK it should be. My other stock xp has no oil residue at exit port of exhaust at rear of ski, but this one turns the area around nozzle and pump black.

Can i adjust ( lean ) the oil/fuel mixture, and if so how, and how much should i do it, because i know I shoudn't run it too lean. ( The ski still self mixes)

AND

Last weekend the exhaust hose at exit port on rear of ski, blew off twice! Anybody had this happen to them? The plastic coupling looked to have gotten hot and sorta melted a little. Any advice is helpful, already sunk this thing twice due to this!

Thanks in avance!
