My XPs engine was flooded first, then towed...:banghead: flooding the entire engine compartment with salt water. After draining the interior, I removed spark plugs to & turned it over to expel water from cylinders, then with the plugs installed to force water from the exhaust. The electrical box was flooded as well. Now for the real problem... I get no chirps with the key on, but the engine will turn. The buzzer is on the whole time the engine is turning. Now please give me some good advice.

I would start by dissassembling the entire electrical system... cleaning it with fresh water, and a scrub brush, and greasing all the connections when it goes back together.

When you get salt water in the electrical... all kinds of strange things can happen.
