Welcome... but don't blame the ski for letting it sink in salt water. (Seadoo's are not rated to be left in the water)

Anyway... yes... the 800 does better with a nice strong battery. Mostly, it's just to get it to crank over. (high compression) Put a meter on the battery and crank it. If the voltage is staying above 10.6v... you should be fine.

Since the electrical was wet, with salt water... all I can say is to flush it well with fresh water (even the conections)... let it dry, and make sure all the electrical connections are clean. Needless to say... disconnect the battery first. Since you get 2 beeps... the MPEM and the CDI are talking to each other... and with a new coil... you should have a stronger spark.

Oh... make sure you pull all the fuses, and check the contacts. They have a tendency to quickly decay with salt water.

And finally... if you want answers quicker... please use punctuation. In this forum... all we have are our words, and trying to read a post without punctuation makes it hard to follow.

Thank you. Sorry for being iliterate. Could water have gotten in the carbs? Like I said I took the plugs out turned fuel off and cranked till fuel and oil stopped fogging out of the plug holes. Would that be enough to get water out of the carbs?

Any water in the carbs would flush through. BUT... if water got back into the engine... then the plugs may be wet.

It’s the texting generation Doc. Hell Im 53 and catch myself not using punctuation. Lmao
