Just went out the other day. Came in without any issues. Havn't had one issue this year thsu far. I always start her up once before heading to the lauch site. (properly of course). Couple days ago acted like battery was dead, battery tested fine, boutght a new one anyway.
Starter begins to turn engine, but after about 3-5 revolutions stops turning. (as if battery was low). Checked fuses, one was bad, replaced. Tried again. Still same issue. In fuse box, a few wires are hot, (the small yellow ones, upper starboard side). Battery is full charge. Any help on this one will be appreciated.

Small yellow wires are hot?? Those are probably the rectifier/regulator wires. You may have a bad regulator. By any chance... was the bad fuse a 15a?

As far as the "Not cranking" thing... I'd say it's time for a starter. Sometimes you can just take it apart, and clean it... or replace the brushes.

fuse

yes, the fuse was the 15a. As far as the starter, it turns over, but almost acts as if there isnt enough juice to turn it more than a couple revolutions. (how difficult is it to replace these two items?

The regulator is easy. Depending on the type you have... it's a bolt or two, and a couple wires, or a single plug.

The stater is a bastard to get out. It's under the exhaust, and kind of under the the engine. You can do it... just take your time.

Thanks

Awsome. Thanks for the help and confidence. I have printed schimatics for it and im pretty sure i can do it. Im going to start with the regulator/rectifier. by the sound, i think the starter isnt malfunctioning, but i will order one and change it. Hopefully i can play a little before i have to put it in. Either way, im going to get it done. Thank you again for your help. I will post when i get it done!
