I'm having a discussion with a friend. My 97 GTX seems to run a little rough until it hits 28-3000 rpm. It then performs exceptionally up to full rpm.  I think it is characteristic of the small cc engine and a tuned exhaust. (back in my offroad 250cc dirt bike days, we called this "hitting or getting on the pipe".
