A few weeks ago I bought a 97 gtx in running condition with some electrical problems. The beeper was dead and no gauges were working. Here are some pictures from the day I bought it.

You can't tell but the impeller and wear ring are in great shape:

No grey fuel lines, already replaced by PO:

Got started on the electrical, I already fixed the beeper and don't have any pictures of that, sorry :

Removed gauge cover and tachometer:

Unfortunately my "new" tachometer is broken, but a replacement is on its way thanks to Minnetonka:thumbsup::

Also cleaned out the storage bins, gauge/ hood deflector, and the black cover under the hood:

Can't wait for the new tachometer to come in so I can see if all the gauges work! With my luck, probably not.

Just removed the old registration stickers and lots of glue is left over

Is goo off okay to use on the hull, or would acetone or paint thinner be better?

Anyone? Is goo gone okay to use on the hull? Is the exhaust hose in the above picture coming loose?

goo gone is fine, gel coat is tough stuff. are you asking about the cooling hose at the "T"? if so, feel the hose behind the clamp, if you can feel the ridge of the nipple behind the clamp it is fine.

Thanks, looks like I'll get the nasty sticker glue off tomorrow. And yes, the t connector, I can feel the nipple at the end but the other one is on tighter.

Just fixed the gauges. After studying the wire diagram in the shop manual, I realized two plugged were plugged into the wrong spot. Swapped them and now the gauges finally work!!!
