Hello All! I was wondering if anyone would know if I could just purchase replacement plug ends for a stator and the wiring harness that plugs into it? I have a 97 challenger 787 single engine. IDK if I pinched some wires in the harness or not but I was in the process of removing the fuel sending unit to see if I could repair the fuel level reading. Shortly after disconnecting the fuel sending unit I twisted a zip tie off of a cable bundle that held the plug end to the harness. I heard some electrical arcing noises and started to see a lot of smoke. I ran and disconnected the battery and it stopped. (Thank God) now I have both ends of the stator connection fried. Hoping to replace the stator and harness plug end and not the whole harness. Of course I need to check the wiring. Sorry for the long message. Any help will be appreciated.
