96 xp rectifier?

hey guys... i've narrowed the low idle/engine bogging problem that i'm having down to a bad rectifier... so i'm going to grab one and replace it...

if anyone has one let me know! thanks in advance...

also i would love to know what this voltage rectifier/regulator does and why it makes the engine bog down like that.. so anything is appreciated! thanks guys!
