I want to replace the Oil Injection tubing on my 1996 XP. Everything is working well with the bike, but I would like to, while I can, change the small Oil Injection tubing lines. I just do not know what the ID of the tubing is. Can someone help me please. I have found the length just not ID of them.

Regards,

W. Foley

3/32" tygon tubing. ACE Hardware carries it here, or try a small engine shop.

Hey, thank you very much for your assistance. If I used a slightly larger ID e.g. (7/64 or 1/8)vinyl tubing would that hurt anything?

WD

1/8" will work in a pinch, be sure the cable ties are secure, 3/32" is a much better fit.

Don't use vinyl tubing. It will get hard and crack. Any hardware/big box/Walmart/auto parts store will have the 3/32" Tygon tubing. Same tubing used for weedeater gas lines. Don't use 1/8th". Not worth the risk. Do it once, do it right

Yes... the oil will eventually kill it. DON'T TAKE A CHANCE WITH THE OIL LINES !!!! You need a true chemical grade hose. (never know what additives are in the oil)
