Sorry for the story but here it is: Took the ski to the lake and it ran fine but I ended up sucking something up and destroying my wear ring. Bought the OEM part off-line and installed the wear a ring and seal, took it to the lake and it ran for about an hour but now it will not start. It was really choppy at the lake but it seemed like it would not accelerate like normal the most I could go was roughly 15 to 20 mile an hour then when I came into the bank it cut out and when I started it back up and gave it gas I had no revs at all and then it died and would not start again. I have recently replaced the starter, starter solenoid, rectifier, new battery, new where ring and nose cone, and cleaned my rave valves and replaced gaskets.. I also cleaned the upper filter on the carbs but I have not rebuilt them. The guy who owned the ski before me said he changed the grey tempo fuel lines but it appears that I still have one running from the carbs to the gas line and green ooz is leaking from the corners of the line. Could it be a fuel delivery problem? Could I have installed the wear ring incorrectly?
