Got it running by using info on here (thanks)
anyway its a 96 xp 787 after getting it running i took it out and for a short time it jumped when you hit the throttle and ran like it should, but then shortly after the power cut down and ill i could do was pretty much idle or give a quick burst short enought to not even plane out.
Thought it was plugs changed them and it ran good for a few seconds then powered down again. let it set a while fired it up blasted up to speed and powered down to idle again, seemed to be idleing ok and starting up for the most part although i prob was fouling up and getting rich from the low speed
fuel screen was alright and had mostly fresh fuel in it as well.
Also fired it up shortly after pulling it out of the water and seemed to rev up high with no hesitation ,with no friction against the impeller being out of the water.
is it the carbs? help me please and suggustions thanks
