'96 Speedster--No beeps after sitting...

I was having the typical beep/no beep problems, and on advice recieved from members cleaned the post and key/cap. Beeped fine, after cleaning. It then sat for about 30 days (weather) and now won't beep at all. Won't start, either. johnfarmer09@aol.com

Check the battery, it might have lost it's charge from sitting.
