i just baught this 96 gti just started it and it smokes like crazy and is dumping oilout of the exhaust

Welcome to the SeaDoo forum. You'll find a lot of good people, with mostly good information.

Has it been stored over the winter? Did you start it on the trailer or at the lake?

If it hasn't been to the lake it's probably residual oil and maybe fogging oil. It should clear out after you run it at the lake.

on the trailer. iknow the person i got it from he said ran good last year. just seems like a lot of oil. thanks for the help.

That's normal for an older seadoo, after sitting all winter. Put it on the water, and ride it for a few minutes, and the smoke will clear up.
