RESTO 951 maintenance light

Hello, I am experiencing an issue that just came up after putting too end on my 2001 GTX DI. On second tank of gas at rpm at or above 5700 maintenance light comes on and message scrolls at the bottom of the tach. When I drop rpms back below 5500 is goes away. Is this a sign of fuel pump going bad or rectifier issue. Thx.

Usually rectifier,,,however,,,when the fuel pump starts to go,,,it draws more amps,,,and the computer senses it,,,so,,,i would first load test the battery,,,then i would test for charging,,,that should tell you if the pump is at fault,,,i am no DI tech,,,most of the time it is the rectifier.
