So I purchased a Titan rebuild kit for my 1998 gtx ltd and can’t get the impeller to turn after just hand tightening, much less torquing to 52 ft lbs. I’ve already made sure the bearing and shim aren’t caught in the shaft groove. Started investigating and noticed the old bearing (don’t know if it was original or correct) had smaller rollers and more of them. Old bearing had 19 rollers. New bearing from Titan has 16 larger rollers and a plastic cage. The Titan rollers mic out at 4.5mm. The old rollers, though worn, mic at 2.75. I just ordered a new bearing from WSM thinking this is my problem. Does anyone know the specs of OEM bearing?
