95 spi bogging out

my seadoo runs fine for about 10 to 15 mins. then starts cutting out and eventually wont even plain out. idle is fine.. when i hit the throttle it seems as it wants to take off but then cuts out right afterwards.. carb is good.. cleaned fuel filter, new gas lines and spark plugs.. revs fine out of water.. Help!?

Out of the water doesn't mater, since there isn't a load on the engine.


After it cools down, does it run again? If it does... that's telling me that it's overheating.

Does your buzzer work?

Same problem here!

Mines doing the same exact thing! Water is shooting out of water hole so its getting water, NO my buzzer or light does NOT go off. What is going on with these babies?

I havent heard a buzzer, not sure if it works... , it seems like it runs the longest right when i put it in the water. then if it sits for a while it runs good for about 2-3 mins. then starts going downhill from there!! i've got 2 machines so i switched the whole brain or whatever its called that all the wires run thru and i'll take em out and see what happens....

had a buddy of mine do it. told me it wasnt the carb... cleaned it and tuned it... when i got it it ran fine for a couple hours before it started doing this... guy i got it from said it had the problem though

Check the buzzer by grounding the wire on the sender. (between the sparkplugs)


Take off each of the cooling hoses, and blow them out, and verify that everything is clear.

Not trying to hi-jack this thread but join it. I'm in the process of figuring out if the sensor is bad or wire myself. Best way to do it? I thought i was grounding the wire correctly but maybe not? Sender between the plugs? I stuck a paper clip in the wire and tried grounding it and got no beeps. Wrong way to do it?
