Hi All
Looking for some help/advice.
I just purchased a 95 seadoo speedster twin engine boat.
I went for a ride with the person when they sold it to me seemed to work great, handled well, went fast no problems.
Picked it up the next day and trailered it 20 minutes to my trailer/dock.
Put her in the water and could only get 1 engine (engine #2) to fire, engine one would not kick over. Boat would not move but would rev higher with only engine 2 on. Ran for a minute then shut of engine and docked.
Took it back to the marina where i purchased it and he does not work on jetboats. we tried changing the plugs several times, seemed to get a little closer to firing, (all of this out of the water ont he trailer).
He asked me to leave it with him for a while , i returned half an hour later and he said no luck.
H. etried switching the coils and no luck on. He advised i take it to another marina and we could split the costs.
I drove directly to anothe rmarina and when they checked the engines for spark there was no spark in any of the four plugs now and engine 2 (the good one) now won't start and squeals badly when you try to start, again this motor was starting perfectly.
When we kept changing th eplugs we were always finding them wet, less each time.
Any thoughts
i am a boating newbie
thanks in advance
