I would start by swapping the wires on the tachs (hook the wires for the left tach on the right and the wires for the right tach on the left) and see if the problems follow the wires or if it stays with the tach this way you know if you have a bad tach or wiring problem.

I agree. Swap your wires from your good motors tach to the one that is acting up to eleminate either the tach or the wiring......:cheers:
